For osteopathy practices

Practice Presence for Osteopathy Practices

A practice presence that finds the middle between clinical and esoteric. For osteopaths with a Swiss GDK diploma, OSTEO Suisse membership and EMR/ASCA registration.

Most osteopathy practices fall into one of two extremes: they look like a doctor's office with white tiles and a stock X-ray image, or they slip into the esoteric with tree symbolism, warm gradients and hand-drawn spines. Both push away the very patients who are actually looking for you: people with chronic back pain, headaches or jaw issues who want serious, but human care.

A patient decides within the first 40 to 60 seconds whether to call or keep searching. In that time they need to see three things: that you are professionally serious, that the practice is reachable, and that they will not feel like a file in a clinical archive. A good practice presence conveys all three without a word being read.

In Switzerland, trust is built above all through your credentials: the GDK diploma introduced with the regulation, the Master of Science in osteopathy, membership in OSTEO Suisse, EMR or ASCA registration for supplementary insurance coverage. These anchors belong clearly visible in your presence, not hidden in the small print. We design them so that they build trust without making the presence look like an association banner.

The tone we aim for: calm, but not cold. Warm, but not esoteric. In practice that means real photos from your practice instead of stock images (a white treatment table with model hands is recognisable as generic), a visual language with natural light instead of clinical LED, and a tone that stays concrete: "We treat back pain, headaches, jaw and pelvic floor issues" rather than "We see the person holistically".

We also stay legally clean: osteopathy in Switzerland is covered by the Therapeutic Products Act and cantonal health laws. Specific promises of cure ("cures migraines") are not permitted, nor are superlatives about effectiveness. We phrase things so that you clearly state what you do and for whom, without becoming legally exposed.

What you get is a presence in which a 45-year-old craftsman with a herniated disc recognises himself just as much as a pregnant woman looking for a paediatric osteopath. Because the presence can speak to both audiences without losing either.

How we help

01

Make trust visible

GDK diploma, OSTEO Suisse, EMR/ASCA and credentials placed so they build trust, without the site looking like an association page.

02

Between clinical and esoteric

A tone that is serious without being cold, warm without slipping into New-Age. Exactly the middle where patients build trust.

03

Practice reality over stock photo

A visual language with real shots of your practice and of you as therapists, because generic stock treatment images are spotted immediately in this niche.

Frequently asked

How is a presence for an osteopathy practice different from a regular doctor's office?
The tone. A doctor's office can be soberly clinical because trust comes from the title. In osteopathy, trust also comes from closeness and touch, so a colder clinical design feels out of place here and pushes patients away.
Can we advertise cure or specific effectiveness?
No, not in that form. Swiss therapeutic products law and cantonal health laws prohibit specific cure claims and misleading effectiveness statements. We phrase things descriptively: what you treat, how you work, who you are there for, rather than what you supposedly cure.
How do you show EMR, ASCA and OSTEO Suisse recognition correctly?
Visible, but not blaring. The logos belong where patients need them during their decision phase: near the contact information and on the treatment overview. Not gathering dust in a wall of badges in the footer.
Do we need a dedicated section for paediatric osteopathy?
If you offer paediatric or infant osteopathy: yes, absolutely. Parents search very specifically for it and want to see that you offer it explicitly, with what additional training and in what setting. A dedicated section is almost mandatory here.
Can we show treatment photos, or is that sensitive?
Treatment photos are good when taken with real patients (with consent) and in your own practice. What does not work: staged model shots where the hand position is technically wrong. Colleagues and attentive patients notice immediately.
How do you stand out from chiropractic and physiotherapy?
Not through comparison text, but by describing your own approach. Osteopathy has a holistic, manual method that explains itself through tone and visual language if you take it seriously. Anyone writing "We are better than physio" comes across as insecure.
What does a practice presence for an osteopathy practice cost?
It depends on scope: a refresh, a full presence including digital experience, or a group practice with several therapists. After a first conversation we give you a transparent quote, with no hidden items.
