For physiotherapy practices

Practice Presence for Physiotherapy Practices

A practice presence for physiotherapy that convinces patients as much as referring doctors. For practices with KLV recognition, physioswiss membership and EMR/ASCA registration.

Physiotherapy practices live from two intake channels: the medical referral with a valid prescription and the self-payers and privately insured patients who come to you directly. Both groups decide by different signals. A presence that only serves one side leaves half of new registrations on the table.

Doctors and rehab clinics refer to places where they expect competent therapy and clean communication. Patients arrive with specific concerns: whiplash, knee rehab after ACL surgery, pelvic floor therapy, scoliosis in children, sports physio after injury. If those topics are not visible in the presence, those patients simply do not recognise you as a fitting practice.

In Switzerland most treatments are billed through basic insurance under KLV. This requires a medical prescription and caps the number of sessions. That reality must be explained clearly in your presence, otherwise patients call with the wrong expectations and you lose time to clarification instead of treatment.

Clearly visible in your presence: physioswiss membership, cantonal practice licence, EMR and ASCA registration for supplementary insurance, and, for specialised therapists, the professional credentials (McKenzie, Maitland, Bobath, Vojta, manual lymphatic drainage, sports physiotherapy SGSM). These are real decision anchors for patients and referring doctors.

Visually we work with real shots from your practice: your equipment, your treatment rooms, your team in real situations. Stock photos with generic physio balls and a smiling model on a treatment table are immediately recognisable as such and undermine the competence your training actually stands for.

For the referring side, the site needs a clean section for doctors: which specialisations you cover, how you report, which rehabilitation protocols you follow, and how a registration with a prescription works. Without this section, many practices refer themselves out of the referring doctors' network.

How we help

01

For patients and referrers

A presence that picks up self-payers as much as referring doctors. Both audiences visible, without either being diluted.

02

Make specialisations visible

McKenzie, Bobath, manual lymphatic drainage, sports physio, pelvic floor. What you can do has to be clearly recognisable in the presence, otherwise specialised patients walk past you.

03

KLV, EMR, ASCA clearly explained

Basic insurance, prescription and supplementary insurance prepared so patients understand without calling what to expect.

Frequently asked

How is a physio presence different from a doctor's office or an osteopathy practice?
Physio sits between medical prescription and self-directed therapy. The presence has to serve both sides: competence towards doctors, accessibility towards patients. Pure clinical aesthetics feel cold, a pure wellness tone feels unserious.
How do you handle the KLV cost coverage?
We design the presence so it explains in plain language how the nine sessions per prescription work, when an extension is required and what self-payers can book on top. That significantly reduces explanation calls.
Does every specialisation need its own section?
For the topics with strong specific demand, yes: pelvic floor therapy, sports physio, paediatric physiotherapy, jaw therapy, lymphatic drainage. These sections pick up exactly the patients who ask for those treatments specifically and would otherwise not recognise themselves in a bundled list.
How do we show referring partners well?
Not with a wall of logos. But with a dedicated section for doctors: specialisations, reporting behaviour, cooperation with rehab clinics and orthopaedic practices, direct contact person. Referring doctors check exactly this behaviour.
Can we show success rates or before/after images?
Concrete promises of cure and effectiveness comparisons are sensitive. Before/after in visible areas (lymphatic drainage, post-operative scars) only with explicit written consent. We phrase descriptively, not comparatively.
What about the training room, if we also offer medical training therapy?
Treat as a distinct area. MTT is for many patients the bridge into the self-payer area, and if you communicate that well, patients stay on a membership with you after the prescription instead of moving to a gym.
What does a practice presence for a physiotherapy practice cost?
It depends on scope: a refresh, a full presence with imagery and materials, or a group practice with several locations. After a first conversation we give you a transparent quote, with no hidden items.
