For dental practices

Practice Presence for Dental Practices

A practice presence for dentists that builds trust without looking like a dental tourism offer. For SSO members, with clear positioning by specialisation.

Hardly any medical field is as competitive as dentistry, and in hardly any is as much bad design produced. The typical Swiss dentist presence shows a white smile from a stock database, three blue circles with the services, an image of the practice's exterior and a text starting with 'Welcome to our practice'. All look the same, and patients decide in the end by proximity and chance.

At the same time, dentistry has a high self-payer share (aesthetic dentistry, implants, bleaching, Invisalign and aligner therapy, dental tourism alternatives). A practice that wants to be visible in this area no longer competes only with the practice around the corner, but with providers in Hungary and Turkey, with specialised centres in Zurich, and with direct-to-consumer brands like Impress or Smilesation. That requires a different presence than the classic insurance-based family practice.

We position first: are you a family and insurance practice with a broad offer, or a specialised practice for implantology, endodontics, orthodontics or aesthetic dentistry? Both are legitimate, but the presence looks fundamentally different, and the worst position is the one in between: a practice that promises everything and shows nothing.

For the structure of the presence that means: clear separation of treatment areas with their own sections (implants, root canal, gum treatment, paediatric dentistry, aesthetics). Each of these sections speaks to patients who have exactly that treatment in mind and would otherwise turn to the more specialised practice. Without this separation your offer disappears into a generic list in which nobody recognises their own question.

Visually we work with real shots: your team, your treatment rooms, your technology (CEREC, DVT, laser, where applicable). Before/after images in aesthetic dentistry are a strong sales argument, but they require written consent under the Data Protection Act and must be honest: same lighting, same angle, no Photoshop brightening.

For paediatric dentistry and anxious patients the tone of the presence decides whether parents call or not. Here you need less gloss and more everyday reality: what does a first treatment for a 4-year-old look like, how do you handle anxious patients, is there laughing gas, general anaesthesia or paediatric psychological support? These questions decide, not the logo.

On professional conduct we stay clean: SSO guidelines and cantonal health laws regulate what is permitted in dental advertising. Comparative advertising, guarantees of success and aggressive price comparisons are sensitive. We design so that you stay visible without risking professional-conduct proceedings.

How we help

01

Positioning before design

Family practice or specialised practice? The fundamental positioning decides the entire presence. We sharpen first, then design.

02

Treatment sections with substance

Implants, endo, orthodontics, paediatric dentistry. We design the content structure so each treatment gets its own strong section rather than disappearing into a bundled list.

03

Trust anchors for self-payers

Digital practice, material transparency, real before/after images, clear pricing. What dental tourism providers do and Swiss practices often do not, although they would have far more arguments for it.

Frequently asked

What sets a good dentist presence apart from the standard?
The standard lists services, a good presence answers patient questions. The difference: dedicated treatment sections with real explanations (What is an implant? What does it cost? How many appointments? What hurts after surgery?), instead of a list of 'prophylaxis, endodontics, prosthetics' without further context.
Can we show prices publicly?
For most treatments yes, and we strongly recommend it. In a time when dental tourism providers advertise with 'crowns from CHF 199', transparency builds trust. We recommend showing prices as 'from' values with a clear explanation of what influences the price (material, starting situation, effort), and we design that price grid so it does not read like a menu board.
What about rating platforms like Google, Doctolib or Jameda?
Google reviews are more important today than any logo. We design how they show up in the presence and shape a process for how you can invite satisfied patients to a review unobtrusively (not through discount incentives, which is problematic under competition law).
Should we have a dedicated page for anxious patients?
Yes, absolutely. Anxious patients are a large and targeted audience. A dedicated page describing concretely how a first appointment goes, which techniques you use (hypnosis, laughing gas, twilight sleep, general anaesthesia) and how much time you plan for them, picks up exactly these people. We design it as part of the treatment section.
Do you also take the photos of the practice and the team?
We design the visual concept and work with photographers who specialise in medical practices. A shooting day at your practice delivers material for your Google profile, social media and print for the next two to three years.
How do we show continuing education and credentials?
Prominently, but grouped legibly. WBA in oral surgery, SSO Fähigkeitsausweis implantology, master in aesthetic dentistry, ITI membership. These anchors belong with the respective treatments, not in a list in the team area where patients do not notice them.
What does a practice presence for a dental practice cost?
It depends on scope: a refresh, a full presence including image production, or a group practice with several locations and specialisations. After a first conversation we give you a transparent quote, with no hidden items.
