A seating concept for a high-speed train carriage reimagined as a travelling fashion exhibition. The armchair is designed to read as considered furniture, not as transport infrastructure.

Standard train seating is built for transit, not for an extended experiential stay: passengers have no surface to rest objects on, no personal light, no sense of ownership over their space. The armchair answers with an integrated side table for objects and drinks that keeps the lap clear during a visit, an adjustable LED reading light mounted to the seat, and generously padded areas for comfort well beyond a standard journey.

An aluminium frame is bolted to the floor for stability; the upholstered panels are wrapped in red leather to bring warmth against the structural material. Red leather on seat, backrest, headrest and armrests anchors the chair visually within the fashion-forward carriage brief, paired with a brushed aluminium frame.
